Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of Posiboo.

1. Who we are

Posiboo (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a PDF generation service for developers and teams. References to “you” or “your” mean the person or entity using Posiboo.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, using our API, or purchasing credits, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced here (collectively, the “Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use Posiboo.

3. Eligibility

You may use Posiboo only if you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security incident.

5. Credits & pricing

  • Posiboo uses a credit-based model. In general, 1 credit = 1 PDF render, unless stated otherwise.
  • Credits are purchased in packs. Prices and pack sizes are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
  • Unless we clearly say so, credits are non-transferable and tied to your account.
  • Credits are designed to be lifetime, but we reserve the right to expire unused credits after a reasonable period (for example if an account is inactive for multiple years). If we change this, we will provide notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Posiboo to:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation.
  • Generate or distribute content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise harmful.
  • Interfere with or attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or availability of our systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our services.
  • Resell or sublicense Posiboo as a competing PDF generation API, unless we give you written permission.

7. API usage & rate limits

  • We may apply rate limits or usage limits to protect the platform and other users.
  • You must implement reasonable error handling and retry logic in your integrations.
  • We may throttle or block requests that appear abusive or unstable.

8. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers (for example payment processors, hosting and analytics). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their actions or failures, but we choose reputable providers and aim to keep a stable stack.

9. Intellectual property

  • We retain all rights, title and interest in Posiboo, including our brand, UI, documentation and underlying technology.
  • You retain all rights to the data and documents you send to us and the PDFs we generate for you.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your data and documents only as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

10. Confidentiality

We treat your non-public data as confidential and will only use it to provide the service, comply with the law, or with your permission.

11. Termination

  • You may stop using Posiboo at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, misuse the service, or pose a risk to our infrastructure or other users.
  • If we terminate without cause, we will make a reasonable effort to let you use any remaining credits or offer a pro-rated refund.

12. “As-is” service

Posiboo is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not make guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. However, we aim for high reliability and transparent communication around issues.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the incident.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give you reasonable notice (for example by email or via the dashboard). Your continued use of Posiboo after the changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
